Editor Favorites From Skims’ Campus Collection
Kim Kardashian’s Skims, per its tradition of surprising fans with new collections and instantly viral items (read: the sculpting face wrap), is getting ready for the upcoming semester with a fresh back-to-school capsule featuring everything one might need to look their best in college (or at any other point in life): including preppy poplin sleep sets, soft-as-a-cloud polos, flannel pants for sleeping or walking on the quad, and lettuce-edge crew socks that are evocative of private school uniforms in the best of ways.
The just-released Skims Campus Collection‘s overarching theme is “collegiate prep” all the way, and, based on the latest trends spotted on TikTok and the street style scene, we think the cult-favorite brand hit the nail on the head in terms of relevancy. We’re particularly delighted to see new versions of Skims bestsellers that have sold out almost as soon as they initially dropped, like the Cotton Jersey Foldover Capri that plays into the capri pants trend co-signed by everyone from Emily Ratajkowski to Hailey Bieber this summer. Then there’s the Cotton Jersey Cami, offered in two limited-edition hues that will pair exceptionally well with a cashmere cardigan left unbuttoned or a starched button-up (may we suggest the new Cotton Poplin Sleep Button Up Dress, whose oversized fit also lends itself well to a pleated miniskirt worn underneath?).
Introducing the Skims Campus Collection: full of everything you need to make a great first impression and ace the preppy-chic aesthetic this fall, without sacrificing comfort or wearability.

In the accessories department, we can’t get over the Phone Lanyard with matte enamel logo beads (catch this becoming the new Octobuddy case, seriously); the Mini Star Clip 4-Pack that will hold up your hair in style during concerts, brunch dates, mid-day lectures, and beyond; as well as the iconic Skims Claw Clip, now available in a subdued Wisteria shade and the jewel-toned, perfect-for-fall Fig. WWD contributor Fernando Snellings called an earlier iteration of the jumbo hair clip “one of the best claw clips [he] owns.” “It holds so much hair. As someone with thick hair, it can be tricky to find one that won’t snap as you jam more hair in, but this Skims clip does the job perfectly,” Snellings added.
Notably, the stars of this campaign are fresh faces you haven’t seen in previous Skims ads and posts (no, unlike in the Roberto Cavalli x Skims collab, Kris Jenner is not the star this time). Instead, the brand tapped a diverse range of Gen Z influencers who know a thing or two about the college experience, including TikTok content creator Rachel Huh, internet personality Jadyn Xavier, and Michael Strahan’s daughter Isabella Strahan. The girls can be seen donning ensembles that we’re running to replicate, stat, including slouchy suede boots (a runway trend for fall) worn with Skims’ Logo Pointelle Mini Dress, kitten heels styled with crew socks plus a light pink Cotton Jersey Loose Short and a Cotton Jersey Tube Top in the same color, and many other of-the-moment arrangements.
Skims has a lot going for it right now, with its white tank top clinching the second place on the Lyst Index’s Q2 2025 report of the world’s hottest products, the aforementioned face wrap (a completely shocking product category expansion for the brand) selling out in less than an hour after it went live, and other innovations, like the Skims Body Hip Enhancing Padded Short, seeing a similar fate. All that considered, it’s likely the new Campus Collection will sell out just as quickly for those keen to build out their ideal, college-inspired look for fall.
So, word to the wise: Hurry to score these flattering and feminine back-to-campus selections as quickly as you would sign up for a class knowing your crush was in it. After your pre-fall wardrobe is refreshed with these Skims picks, forget valedictorian — you’ll be the best dressed one in your graduating class.
