The former lightweight champion didn’t hold back:
‘Islam, in my honest opinion, one and a half—two years. Because of age. He’s going to be 34 in October. When you turn 35, you need to stop doing this and leave the sport for young guys. If you don’t finish at 35, somebody is going to finish you.’

Khabib, who retired undefeated at 29-0, stepped away from the sport at just 32 years old. He defended his lightweight title three times, defeating the likes of Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, and Justin Gaethje.
