Seven weeks of high-octane southern hemisphere rugby union hits Sky Sports’ screens this August as South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Argentina collide in the 2025 Rugby Championship.
The Springboks remain the benchmark but with the All Blacks, a revitalised Australia and an established Argentina in the mix, the reigning champions face a stern test to retain their crown.
All eyes turn to Ellis Park on August 16, where the back-to-back World Cup winners kick off their campaign against a Wallabies side riding high after a statement win in the third Test against the British and Irish Lions.
After successive Rugby Championship wooden spoons, Australia’s revival under Joe Schmidt faces an immediate acid test, with the Wallabies heading to Cape Town for a brutal second Test against the Springboks on August 23.
Australia return home for back-to-back match with Argentina – first in Townsville on September 6, then in Sydney on September 13 – before their campaign culminates in a two-Test showdown with the All Blacks.
Eden Park sets the stage on September 27, followed by the return in Perth on October 4, as the Wallabies look to end 24 years of hurt and finally reclaim the elusive Bledisloe Cup.
New Zealand, fresh from their recent series victory over France, begin their quest to reclaim the crown for the fourth time in five years with back-to-back Tests against Los Pumas-first in Córdoba on August 16, then in Buenos Aires on August 23.
