Owner: Lyndie Benson

Origin Story: Founded in Malibu in 2017, Bleusalt is a “sustainable” fashion label inspired by a life in and around the ocean. Founder Lyndie Benson sought to create a durable, yet equally premium alternative to cashmere that would withstand the elements of the beach, in elevated styles that would take her seamlessly from a bonfire at the seashore to a dinner at Nobu. What resulted was a collection of season-less, high-quality basics made in the USA with “the softest fibers on earth” — a capsule collection wardrobe with fabric as the brand’s keystone.

While the brand has faced several obstacles since its founding, like the fires impacting Malibu in 2018, 2024 and 2025, Lyndie has always prioritized taking care of her employees and the community. Even through these setbacks and supply chain disruptions, Bleusalt has scaled to $50M in sales in less than 10 years and become a wardrobe staple for style icons like Meghan Markle, Sophie Turner and Kaia Gerber.
