Locations: New York, NY
Department: Product
Reports to: Director of Product Development
Employment Type: Full-time
About Margaux
At Margaux, we believe in thoughtful design, timeless style, and comfort without compromise. We are a modern footwear brand with a classic soul, driven by a passion for craftsmanship and a deep appreciation for our customers. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a creative and collaborative Studio Logistics Coordinator to help shape the visual voice of Margaux across channels—from product storytelling and campaigns to digital and in-store experiences.
About the Role
Margaux is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Studio Logistics Coordinator to manage all aspects of our physical product samples — from intake and documentation to cross-functional coordination and external shipment execution. This is a pivotal, highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of Product Development, Marketing, Brand, PR, and Retail, ensuring that all teams have what they need, when they need it.
You will be the gatekeeper and logistical lead for our weekly sample shipments from Spain and all related sample movement, tracking, and organization across internal and external channels. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end PDP photography workflow, from sample dispatch to final image delivery — coordinating across photographer, retouchers, and PD to maintain both creative and operational precision.
What You’ll Do
PD Sample Management & Documentation
● Receive, unpack, label, and physically organize weekly sample shipments from Spain.
● Photograph and digitally log each sample in Dropbox with clear, consistent naming conventions.
● Maintain and update Airtable — our cross-functional system of record — to ensure visibility across all teams.
● Track the full lifecycle of samples: from intake to their use in photography, gifting, PR placements, or retail display, and eventual return or disposition.
● Work in close partnership with the Director of Product Development to stay in lockstep on incoming product — maintaining deep familiarity with what’s in development, what’s in production, and what samples are needed or missing based on key photoshoot and launch deadlines.
● Actively anticipate upcoming sample needs based on PD timelines, marketing calendars, and seasonal campaigns — helping ensure products are ordered and tracked with sufficient lead time.
● Coordinate samples for brand campaign photoshoots.
● Coordinate samples and other requests for press and media.
● Perform quarterly audits and reconcile physical samples with digital records; manage office sample inventory and coordinate returns to stock when needed.
Image Asset Pipeline Management: Photography & Editing
● Act as the operational lead for all PDP photography and editing workflows — coordinating sample handoffs, scheduling, and communication between photographer, external retouchers, and internal stakeholders.
● Manage external retouching vendors: assign projects, track progress, consolidate feedback, and ensure final assets meet brand standards and PDP visual requirements.
● Implement and uphold a standardized PDP photo editing checklist, ensuring consistency in logo visibility, heel alignment, sock smoothness, buckle positioning, and overall silhouette.
● Maintain timelines and proactively troubleshoot delays or gaps in asset delivery; flag bottlenecks and drive improvements in speed and accuracy.
Cross-Functional Support
● Serve as the central coordinator for all moving parts of sample logistics — ensuring proactive alignment across PD, Marketing, Brand, Retail, and PR.
● Anticipate and communicate sample needs in advance of upcoming shoots, campaigns, or retail launches.
● Own the sample calendar and provide visibility to all stakeholders on sample availability, timelines, and in-transit status.
What We’re Looking For
● 1–3 years experience in logistics, studio operations, photo production, or fashion/product coordination (internships included).
● Ability to juggle multiple tasks and stakeholders while maintaining accuracy and follow-through.
● Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong organizational instincts.
● Experience managing timelines and workflows between photographers, editors, and cross-functional teams.
● Proficient with Dropbox, Airtable (or similar tracking tools), and shipping platforms (UPS/FedEx/DHL).
● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
● Familiarity with PDP photography, e-commerce workflows, and editorial production is a plus.
● Comfortable working across teams and departments in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
● Passion for visual storytelling, brand consistency, and seamless execution.
What We Offer
● Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) policy so you can rest and recharge
● Health, dental, and vision insurance
● 401(k)
● Employee discount on all Margaux products
● A close-knit, mission-driven team culture
Compensation: $65k – $75k, depending on experience.
