After an early look at Ja Morant’s upcoming Halloween sneakers surfaced in July, another one of the Memphis Grizzlies star’s holiday-themed Nikes has just emerged.

This time, it’s Christmas that’s being celebrated on Morant’s third signature sneaker, the Nike Ja 3. With a White/Bright Crimson/Volt/Black color combination, the look isn’t as on-the-nose as some of the holiday-themed Nikes that have been released over the years, but it gets the job done with its neon green and red shades atop a snow-like white base. The holiday theme is accentuated by a glittery snow globe badge on the tongue complete with Morant’s logo.

The Nike Ja 3 was debuted by Morant in April during the first round of the NBA playoffs. It’s notable for being Nike’s first performance basketball shoe to use full-length hybrid ZoomX foam cushioning. Nike touts it as Morant’s first signature shoe “built from scratch” and says it worked closely with the basketball star on the sneaker’s design.

“We wanted to give him more hangtime and keep him contained for those shifty, downhill drives. When Ja blows by defenders with his bulldog crossover, his shoes offer an explosive feel designed to handle his hyperathletic style of play,” Monique Currie, former WNBA veteran and current senior product line manager of men’s global basketball footwear at Nike, said in a press release.

Compared to the washed-out purple look of the Ja 1 Christmas and the toned-down silver colorway featured on the Ja 2 Christmas, the upcoming Nike Ja 3 is easily Morant’s most vibrant holiday sneaker yet. 

Despite the arrival of detailed images shared by @prm.cotd, further specifics surrounding the Nike Ja 3 Christmas have not yet been announced by Nike. However, the pair is currently expected to be released on Dec. 26 for a retail price of $135 from nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers. The holiday-themed colorway has a style code of IH0798-100.
