Gençlerbirliği has announced the arrival of Adama Traoré Malouda from Ferencváros on August 19, 2025. The Malian attacking midfielder, who boasts extensive experience across Europe, has signed with the Turkish club and has already taken part in his first training session.

After three seasons with Ferencváros, tallying 117 matches and 40 goals, Adama Traoré Malouda departs Hungary to embrace a new challenge in Turkey. The Malian international is now contracted to Gençlerbirliği until 2028.

“Gençlerbirliği continues to strengthen its squad with new signings. The Reds have brought in winger Adama Traoré, who played for Ferencváros in Hungary. Gençlerbirliği has signed a two-year plus one-year deal with the 30-year-old Malian. Adama Traoré, who began his professional career at Malian club KO Bamako, has also featured for TP Mazembe, FC Metz, US Orléans, Al-Adalah, FC Sheriff, and most recently Ferencváros. Last season, this experienced player made 45 appearances for Ferencváros, scoring 8 goals and providing 4 assists. We welcome Adama Traoré and wish him great success in the red and black shirt,” read the club’s official statement.

After signing his new contract, Traoré immediately joined preparations for the match against Gaziantep FK, counting towards Matchday 3 of the Trendyol Super League. The session, led by coach Hüseyin Eroğlu at the Beştepe İlhan Cavcav Sports Complex, allowed Traoré to quickly blend into the squad.
