Carly Pearce Styles Zimmermann and The Sei for ACM Honors 2025

Carly Pearce hit high notes in two looks by The Sei and Zimmermann for her red carpet appearance and performance at the Academy of Country Music Honors on Wednesday in Nashville.

Prior to her performance with fellow country crooner Russell Dickerson, Pearce arrived at the event in a one-shoulder ruffle gown by The Sei. The sleeveless dress featured a flowing silhouette and toffee tone, which served to complement Pearce’s brunette-blond hair.

The dress included an asymmetric neckline and chiffon style fabric with subtle ruffles to one side. The modern look included some sheer style elements. Pearce accessorized the dress with pieces of gold jewelry, including statement earrings.

As for her performance look, Pearce ramped up her Western style with the hypnotic satin drape dress by Zimmermann. The look, from the label’s fall 2025 collection, came in a salmon tone contrasted with cream and white lace.

The silk satin midi dress featured layers of draped silk with an exaggerated sleeve cuff and a lace skirt. The look was wholly evocative of Western style thanks to its lace trimmings and satin fabric at the waist. The “What He Didn’t Do” singer, who performed alongside Russell Dickerson, added a pair of cream cowgirl boots to complete her look.

Country and cowboy core style saw an uptick in popularity over the course of the last few years, thanks in no small part to Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s Grammy Award-winning “Cowboy Carter” album, which debuted in March 2024.

The trend even made its way to the catwalk. Schiaparelli’s fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection, curated by creative director Daniel Roseberry, took cues from Western style inspiration and imbued the aesthetic with signature elements of the Italian luxury fashion house.

“Cowboy core is still riding high,” Joelle Diderich opened her WWD review of the collection. “Having plied Western chic this time last year, Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry put a raw spin on the trend this season with hand-tooled leather handbags, chunky shearling jackets and big buckle belts worn three at a time.”
