Southern pulls away behind Swank’s hat trick | Sports


ELYSBURG — Macie Swank finished with a hat trick and Southern Columbia’s girls soccer team pulled away from North Schuylkill in the final 10 minutes in a 5-1 season-opening win.

The Tigers (1-0) led 1-0 at the break on a goal in the first 10 minutes, Swank. The Tigers doubled their lead on Kennadie Reamer’s unassisted goal 15 minutes into the second half.
