Kim Petras opted for a bold white outfit that pulled inspiration from very different moments in time for an event in Los Angeles on Friday.
On foot, the Grammy-winning pop artist laced up a pair of mid-calf boots featuring lace accents and brogue detailing. The almond-toed boots were reminiscent of styles worn during the Victorian era in the late 1800s. With romantic lace panels, the style looked like what a 19th-century woman might have worn on their wedding day. While the heels were hidden from sight in photos, the vintage boots typically featured short, chunky heels with a slight curve. Rosamund Pike showed off a similar pair on the front row at the Dior cruise 2025 show in May.

As for the rest of her look, the German-born “Unholy” singer modeled a graphic print Dolce & Gabbana dress that debuted on the runway as a part of the brand’s spring 2003 collection. The early 2000s look boasted a tube silhouette, though she wore a white bra with the straps showing underneath, and an asymmetrical, ruffled skirt. Emblazoned across the front of the dress was the phrase, “Super Divine & Glamorous.”
Petras accessorized with a diamond “K” charm necklace, white-rimmed sunglasses (despite it being dark out), and a white sequined shoulder bag, referencing 1990s fashion. She also donned mint green acrylic nails and two braids that hit past her hips.

This loud outfit is not out of the norm for the “Freak It” artist, who is known for her outrageous fashion choices on and off stage. She performed in Maison Margiela’s signature split-toe Tabi boots, a polarizing silhouette, at the Outloud Music Festival in West Hollywood in June. Petras has also collaborated with Ed Hardy on multiple collections influenced by the 2000s.
