Julia Fox has displayed another designer footwear look on the set of “Elsbeth,” filming in New York City on Monday, wearing a pair of satin sandals from Malone Souliers. Fox joins the CBS police procedural as a guest star in the show’s third season.

Fox rounded out her Gothic romantic look with Malone Souliers’ Nomi sandal in black satin. The style presents a distinctive interpretation of a classic T-strap look, remodeling the aesthetic with a peep-toe opening in front and a curvaceous open-back counter, leaving a sliver of the ankle exposed. A square buckle embellished with small pearls is meant to provide a vintage appeal. The $825 shoes are set upon a 90-mm flared block heel, which aims to offer wearability through the night.
Fox’s Malone Soulier heels accompanied a long-sleeve black lace dress with gathered fabric pointing toward a center point at the midriff, with a swath of hanging fabric bringing greater intrigue to the skirt. Sheer elements added to the sultry energy of the garment; netted gloves and flared sleeves emphasized the Gothic drama.

T-strap heels, which were a popular dress shoe style in the early half of the 20th century, have been receiving some love from celebrities lately. Salma Hayek, for example, attended the Balenciaga fall 2025 haute couture show in July wearing a platform-peep toe iteration with a shiny gold T-strap.

Fox’s on-set search for “Elsbeth” has been wide-ranging. She’s worn multiple pairs of platform Crocs, including the black Stomp shoe and a bejeweled Siren clog made in collaboration with Simone Rocha. She’s also modeled an archival Le Silla set, the brand’s Hard Rock heels, as well as black pointed-toe boots.
