Kim Kardashian is one of several stars to wear a slingback heel at the 2025 Venice Film Festival. The reality star arrived in Venice for the 82nd year of the festival on Thursday showing off a nontraditional airport look, which included a black halter dress paired with sleek Saint Laurent slingback heels.

Kardashian arrived at the airport wearing Saint Laurent’s Vendome 110 patent leather slingback pumps. The shoes, which retail for $1,150, are crafted from glossy patent leather that elevated the look. The heels feature a sharp, and slightly elongated pointed toe that adds more drama to the look.

The shoes feature a low cute vamp, leaving the top of the foot exposed aside from an elasticized slingback strap that goes up the side of the foot and wraps around the back of the ankle. The shoes are balanced atop a sleek flared stiletto heel measuring 110mm, and the foot rests on top of a round Saint Laurent-engraved gold metal plaque on the insole.

While her maxi halter dress and the slingbacks appeared to be a more formal look for an airport, Kardashian’s dress was made from a softer, T-shirt-like material, and also featured a hood and a cutout at the start of her midsection. Slingbacks have been a popular choice at the Venice Film Festival this year, with celebrities like Amal Clooney, Heidi Klum, and others, wearing the style on and off the red carpet from brands like Prada, Betsey Johnson, Giorgio Armani and more.

Later on Thursday, Kardashian stepped out at the DVF Awards wearing a Maison Margiela couture look in a sheer gray hue that was fresh off the fall 2025 runway. The floor-length frock featured elegant draping, a high neckline, and a design in the midsection that cinched her waist like a corset. The dress also featured a cape that followed behind her as she walked into the event.
