Alabama football instant reactions to Florida State loss in Week 1

On Saturday afternoon, the Alabama Crimson Tide officially opened the 2025 college football season on the road in Tallahassee against the Florida State Seminoles.

However, this trip to Tallahassee would be the exact opposite of what many across college football expected, as the Crimson Tide fell to the Seminoles by a final score of 31-17.

A game in which Alabama jumped out to an early lead, there were simply not many positives for the Crimson Tide in this showing, as Florida State controlled the contest for a vast majority after the midway point of the first quarter.

Let’s take a look at some instant reactions from Alabama’s loss in Tallahassee on Saturday afternoon.
