Baltimore’s 2025 schedule is loaded, and we’re ranking the four starting quarterbacks in the AFC North
The Ravens’ first-place finish in the AFC North will give John Harbaugh’s team an even more demanding schedule in 2025. The slate of games will be one of the league’s most challenging. They will face the gauntlet of juggernauts in the NFC North and AFC East and the division winners in the AFC West, NFC West, and AFC South.
The AFC North is a brutal division that features two of the leading MVP candidates, a future Hall of Famer seeking one final dominant season in Pittsburgh, and a Browns roster comprising a crafty veteran and two rookies.
Baltimore’s 2025 schedule is loaded, and we’re ranking quarterbacks in the AFC North ahead of Week 1.
1. Lamar Jackson: Ravens
Last season, the 28-year-old Jackson set career highs in touchdown passes (41), passing yards (4,172), and quarterback rating (119.6) while throwing just four interceptions. Jackson became the first player in NFL history to pass for 4,000+ yards and rush for 900+ yards. Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken is entering his third season coaching Jackson and expects the quarterback’s growth to continue and reach another level as he enters the prime of his career.
2. Joe Burrow: Bengals
Despite battling lingering injuries, Burrow had an MVP-like 2024 season with a 71 percent completion rate (460 of 652 attempts), 4,918 passing yards, and a 43:9 TD: INT ratio.
3. Aaron Rodgers: Steelers
Rodgers signed a one-year, $13.65 million deal with $10 million guaranteed and a max value of $19.5 million with the Steelers. After missing all but one game in 2023 due to an Achilles injury, Rodgers suited up for all 17 regular-season games with the Jets in 2024. Rodgers completed 368 of 584 pass attempts (63 percent) for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
Pittsburgh is expected to be in playoff contention and will face the Ravens twice down the stretch, at Baltimore in Week 14 and at home in the Week 18 season finale.
4. Joe Flacco: Browns
Flacco returns to Cleveland, where he won the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year award in 2023. Flacco joins a quarterback room with Deshaun Watson, who is rehabbing after retearing his right Achilles tendon and could miss most of the 2025 season, and Kenny Pickett, who was traded to Cleveland from Philadelphia. The Browns added Dillion Gabriel (third round) and Shedeur Sanders (5th-round) in the draft.
Player to watch: Dillon Gabriel (Browns)
After trading Kenny Pickett to the Las Vegas Raiders and releasing Tyler Huntley, the Browns will enter the regular season with three quarterbacks — starter Joe Flacco and rookies Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders. During the preseason, Gabriel completed 25 of 37 passes for 272 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and a passer rating of 86.8.
