Emily Blunt took a break from filming the highly anticipated “The Devil Wears Prada 2” in New York, jetting off to Italy to attend the Venice Film Festival 2025. The actress graced the red carpet at “The Testament of Ann Lee” photocall on Sunday, shining in a pair of metallic gold pumps from Schutz.
She donned the footwear brand’s Cadey Lee block sandals, which include a skinny strap across the toes and buckle around the ankle. Blunt’s pumps perfectly coordinated with the statement-making gold straps — which featured sculptural hardware, such as diamond-encrusted chains — on her powder blue Schiaparelli gown. The body-hugging number also boasted draping in the front for added interest. She upped the ante with a gold charm necklace and geometric-shaped dangly earrings.

Blunt sported her new cinnamon spice hair in voluminous curls, which is a major departure from the blonde locks she was spotted donning on the set of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” last month. As for the rest of her beauty, the actress went with a summery lilac purple eyeshadow and glowy skin.
A go-to for the celebrity set, metallic sandals have been trending for a while now and continue picking up speed. Just last week, Regina King wore Giuseppe Zanotti’s metallic gold Intriigo Claire 105 look at the “Caught Stealing” premiere in New York. Meanwhile, earlier in August, Issa Rae donned metallic leather strappy sandals from Stuart Weitzman while attending Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival.
Blunt styled the sandals with a Schiaparelli gown.
The photocall also brought out the likes of Amanda Seyfried, Christopher Abbott and Mona Fastvold, who all star in the film. Blunt has taken this year’s Venice Film Festival by storm, attending “The Smashing Machine” premiere and celebrity-packed Miu Miu Women’s Tales event.
