Venus Williams continued her on-court reign at the 2025 U.S. Open, wearing a custom Pucci tennis kit during her women’s doubles match alongside partner Leylah Fernandez of Canada on Monday in New York City’s Flushing neighborhood in the Queens borough.
For the match, the seven-time Grand Slam champion wore a coordinated tennis dress and visor by Pucci’s artistic director Camille Miceli. Inspired by the brand’s forthcoming fall 2025 collection, the tennis kit was designed with the “Labirinto” print, featured on both the sleeveless tennis dress and visor.

The Pucci dress was designed with a fit-and-flare silhouette and included a scalloped laser-cut hem. The dress was paired with tailored shorts featuring the same pattern as the dress, along with a signature silk tie visor. The look was made complete with a matching racket cover.
Named after its eponymous founder, Emilio Pucci, the Italian luxury label features distinct, playful patterns and a bouquet of tonal designs. Under artistic director Camille Miceli, the brand emphasizes mixing and matching, reworking Pucci’s motifs and patchwork.

Williams has continued to work with stylist Ronald Burton 3rd throughout her 2025 U.S. Open run. For her singles match against Czechia’s Karolína Muchová on Aug. 25, Burton styled Williams in a custom ERL tennis kit with overt nods to tennis great Althea Gibson, who broke the color barrier in the sport 75 years ago.
“Her energy was so calm, excited and infectious, she is a person that makes you immediately feel like family even if it’s just been a few hours,” Burton told WWD, referencing his working relationship with Williams. “This was our [first] time collaborating, and to be honest I couldn’t have asked for a better collaborator,” the stylist said.

A trailblazer in sports and fashion, Williams was recently honored with an Inspiring Women series Barbie doll. Over the course of her more than 20-year career, Williams advocated for pay equity at the top level of the sport, becoming the first woman in tennis to earn equal prize money upon her 2007 victory at The Championships, Wimbledon.
