Styled by Britt Maccamey, the star of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” adopted feminine whimsy from head to toe, pairing Vivaia’s Cristina style with a fuzzy fall 2025 dress from 404 Studio. The Cristina, released in February, is a square-toe style described by the brand as a “barefoot ballet sneaker.” The flexible shoe, designed with an elastic heel, is ultra-slim but features a triple-layer sole construction for comfort and wearability. Tung wore the Grey Silver version of the satin shoe, a new fall 2025 color, which offered a light neutral base to her ensemble.

The Cristina retails for $159 and is also available in colors like Peach Blush and Dream Blue, and has even been reimagined in a mesh iteration. The style comes with two shoelace options, allowing customers to get in on the sneaker customization trend. Vivaia also offers the Yanka, recently worn by Julia Roberts in Venice, a round-toe sneakerina which is even more ballet flat-adjacent with a low-cut vamp; and the new Yancy style, which incorporates the look of a ’70s trainer. This new silhouette has been showcased by Bella Hadid (who is also a fan of the Cristina). Vivaia is one of many brands to have embraced the sneaker-ballet flat hybrid trend, with additional players including Puma and Louis Vuitton.

Tung’s footwear provided an elevated yet relaxed counterpoint to her fuzzy drop-waist minidress, which featured a color-blocked design with black straps adorned with large silver buckles, a gray fitted bodice and a baby blue flared skirt. She also wore polka dot tights, which added to the playful nature of her outfit.
No stranger to on-the-go footwear, Tung is also a Crocs partner.
