Rihanna blended relaxed clothing with polished footwear for her latest maternity look.

The singer stepped out in Los Angeles on Wednesday, wearing a pair of white and black Miu Miu cap-toe pumps. The heels peeked through from under her wide-legged denim pants as she walked.

The shoes were a mary jane style with a covered block heel measuring 65mm. The square-toe pumps are all white aside from a black cap toe, adding color contrast and a romantic, classic flair. The footwear featured a modern detail, thanks to an instep strap on the upper that was wrapped with a metal chain decorating the foot.

As another ode to the jewelry world, an artificial pearl is featured on the closure, adding even more charm to the shoe. The shoes retail for $1,200 and are also available in a cream/ivory color and in a slingback version.

Her outfit also featured ultra-ripped light-wash denim jeans and a striped yellow and navy blue polo shirt, which she paired with the Miu Miu patent leather pumps. She accessorized with a Louis Vuitton Monogram bag, large sunglasses and stacked jewelry both around her neck and on her wrists.

The laid-back outfit mirrors the styles Rihanna has been wearing lately. For her third pregnancy, the Grammy winner has stuck to a uniform that has consisted of a baggy jean with an oversize top, at times adding a blazer or an additional layer, but has kept it playful with her footwear choices. Rihanna spent a portion of her pregnancy in high heels while promoting her “Smurfs” movie, wearing styles from Amina Muaddi and Gianvito Rossi for her red-carpet appearances and other public outings.

Now, as her pregnancy is winding down and she prepares for her child’s arrival, she has been sporting low profile sneakers like the Puma Speedcat, Fenty x Puma Cat Cleat flips flops, Christian Louboutin and Maison Margiela ballet flats. The “Needed Me” singer is known for her edgy style, her love for high heels and her commitment to promoting her own sneaker and shoe designs she has created with Puma.
