Off-White Spring 2026 Included Signature Sporty Details and Plenty of Nepo Babies

On Friday afternoon, Off-White and Creative Director Ib Kamara took over the New Design High School on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, transforming the rooftop into a basketball court fully painted in various hues of purple and pink. The school wasn’t emptied for the event; in fact, the brand embraced the classroom energy and invited students in on the fun. Some were assigned to direct showgoers to the runway, while others served as hypemen in the halls, roaring with sounds of applause and outfit approvals as guests shuffled through the space. “Ooh, she looks cute,” and “That’s a good outfit” were among the compliments being offered to attendees. Following in the do-good footsteps of its late Founder, Virgil Abloh, the brand will maintain the custom-made murals and renovations for the next academic year.

As the first look came out, at a quick glance, the garment was notably not in the same color scheme as the venue. Once the model came closer, the image of a mostly black coat with green panels, white cuffs and a red triangular shape descending down each arm became clear — it seemed to mirror the Palestinian flag. The hem featured a fringe of feather-like fabric, almost identical to that of a keffiyeh. Regardless of this somewhat obvious nod, neither Kamara nor the brand has made a statement proclaiming any direct inspiration. In fact, I was told the look was actually “pink and black” (though I’m not convinced).

However, in the post-event press release, Kamara wrote, “There is no better place than New York City to highlight how central the influence of black culture has been in the shaping of pop culture as we know it […] Call it invention as resistance, personal expression as a means of survival. There is a vitalistic force to this urge which is forever empowering. This collection is ideally charged with that same energy and spirit, but there is nothing nostalgic about it. Rather, I am after the sense of urgency and presence that’s equally and quintessentially NYC.” So, take that as you will.

Following the maybe-maybe-not statement, more models walked down the runway — this time in more utilitarian pieces like cargo pants and mini shorts with doubled-up fanny packs on each hip. Staying true to Off-White’s original codes, the sportier elements were paired up with elevated garments like trendy, bohemian-like, flowy silk blouses; perfectly pressed button-up shirts with matching ties and bejeweled jacket collars.

“Menswear and womenswear share the same fierceness, the flared silhouettes and the sheerness, as well as the satins, that echo the 1970s, and an urban, neutral palette accented with pastels and bright notes of red and yellow,” said Kamara. “The emphasis is on the shoulders; prismatic constructions on utilitarian tailoring as well as slinky dresses are maximized by contrasts of materials and colors. Everything is graphic and heroic, with a sensuality that passes from body hugging jerseys to sturdy denims, from flou to tailoring.”

Those modeling the 49 looks included a surplus of nepo babies, including Landon Barker, Iris Law, Julez Smith and Natalia Bryant — not to mention Paris Jackson, who instead opted to be a spectator front row.

Nearby, Ellie the Elephant, the mascot for the WNBA team New York Liberty, looked perfectly in place beside Ciara and June Ambrose, taking selfies with the two in a custom black-and-white outfit. Besides being invited simply for being the star she is, she was also there to tease her team’s upcoming capsule with the brand. On the runway, Kamara included one piece from the forthcoming collaboration: a white varsity jacket with New York Liberty patches across the chest, back and both arms.

After the show, the school’s students were invited up onto the catwalk to take photos and say (or rather, scream) goodbye to the many VIPs. Ciara, Mary J. Blige and Antonia Gentry were also in the front row, but it was none other than Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen from “Love Island USA” who arguably impressed the kids most.

With so much to digest from the event, the only thing left to do is see the looks for yourself, below.
