Nike’s got sneaker fans under a spell with its newest women’s Zoom Vomero 5 colorway. 

After becoming a staple lifestyle model over the last few years, the enduring Nike Zoom Vomero 5 is still hanging on thanks to eye-catching new looks and timely refreshes on seasonal variations such as the Zoom Vomero Roam. Adding to the former category is a newly released Pink Spell/Black/Metallic Platinum women’s style which is already generating buzz on social media and beyond. 

The look is one of the loudest pink colorways to appear on the Zoom Vomero 5 yet thanks to its liberal use of Pink Spell coloring throughout the mesh upper, shoelaces, sole tooling and heel counter. This is balanced by black for a two-tone look that’s reminiscent of Comme des Garçons x Nike Air Max 180 collaboration from 2018. Dashes of reflective Metallic Platinum are also scattered throughout the upper. 

The Zoom Vomero 5 was reissued in 2018, first through a collaboration with experimental streetwear brand A-Cold-Wall and later in general release colorways. After marinating on the market briefly, the Zoom Vomero 5 resurfaced again in 2022 and quickly caught on as one of Nike Sportswear’s most popular lifestyle shoes. The sneaker’s Y2K-era design language and casual comfort have made it a top seller in the lifestyle category. 

Beyond the Zoom Vomero 5 retro shoe, Nike has been pushing its new Vomero models to new heights — literally. The brand’s upcoming Vomero Premium adds exposed Zoom Air units to an already stacked ZoomX foam setup, while the Vomero Plus gives the Vomero 18 a full ZoomX upgrade.
