Jane Wade's Spring 2026 Workwear Looks Like it Was 'Wiped Across a Dusty Floor'

Fresh off of last season’s successful merger (Lisa Rinna’s ‘acquisition’ of the company as part of the runway presentation), the Jane Wade Corp. shared a glimpse into another part of its (imagined) business for Spring 2026: a (fictional) fulfillment center. Set in an industrial warehouse in Brooklyn, the designer’s latest show offered up a cast of corporate characters outfitted in twisted button-ups, pinstripe suiting and strappy tactical accessories.

“The Jane Wade thematics are always studying the labor force across America,” Wade told Fashionista at her Brooklyn studio ahead of Sunday’s runway show. “What that means within our brand is studying workwear from a more tactile lens and officewear from a more suiting and tailoring lens.”

The designer is known for crafting embellishments and accessories out of custom metal components, and this season, she developed a custom hex nut inscribed with the label’s logo; which she wove into a (heavy) metallic handbag. Wade also designed a flat tag component, which she combined with leather and pima cotton canvas to create a futuristic fringe-adorned dress.

Musician King Princess returned to the New York Fashion Week runway in one of Wade’s personal favorite looks: a washed-out denim matching set with a snap-secured tearaway skirt that transforms from maxi to mini (or however else a creative wearer may choose to style it). “We wanted that hero Jane Wade blue color, but we’ve inserted this dusty treatment on top of the denim to make it look like it’s been wiped across a sterile, dusty floor,” Wade said.

Technology also played a role in this season’s show via Wade’s sponsor partners: Lingo, a glucose monitoring biosensor, which she worked into functional garments (Wade wears a biosensor herself) and Nothing, a London-based tech company that makes headphones, watches and phones.
