Olivia Rodrigo Celebrates the Fight for Reproductive Rights in Angelic White

Activists, advocates, artists, and more notable figures turned out for the 2025 Planned Parenthood of Greater New York’s Spring Into Action Gala yesterday (April 24). Among them, Olivia Rodrigo, one of the most vocal young pop stars on reproductive rights and the fight against government rollbacks.

Rodrigo was honored for her vocal advocacy for reproductive rights and the challenges mounting against abortion access. Taking to the stage to accept the honor, the 22-year-old singer said that the “greatest privilege” of her career has been the “connection I’ve made with women through my music.”

“When I play shows, I look out at crowds filled with young girls, and the bond that I feel with them is profound,” she said in her speech. “To be in a space where we can all feel safe to be wild, emotional, and carefree is incredibly powerful.”

Rodrigo wore a white silk Gucci dress from the pre-fall 2025 collection, which features a crystal horsebit that brings the delicate spaghetti straps together across the décolletage. While the dress was styled on the runway with oxblood leather knee-high boots, Rodrigo opted to wear barely there silver stilettos and kept her glam simple, with long straight hair and a glossy pink lip.

The musician was also photographed on the gala carpet with fellow singer Lily Allen—if you remember, Rodrigo brought Allen out for her Glastonbury set in 2022. They sang a surprise duet of Allen’s song “F*ck You” and dedicated it to the five members of the U.S. Supreme Court after the overturning of Roe v Wade. For the evening, Allen wore a gauzy taupe crop top with sheer panelling that exposed her midriff, and iridescent green maxi skirt, and a Puppets and Puppets cookie embossed bag.
