Sofía Vergara went for after-hours glam in an ornate and structured midi dress by Nadine Merabi for the “America’s Got Talent” season 20 finale results red carpet on Wednesday in Pasadena, Calif.

Vergara opted for Merabi’s Valentina Black Dress. The sleeveless midi dress was crafted with a cupped corset bodice in black satin, featuring internal boning at the front, back and sides. The corseted top also featured thin straps with crystallized embellishment.

That same shimmering quality of the straps featured all over the high-waist skirt of the dress. The skirt was adorned with black crystallized droplet detailing, overlaid with a mesh-lined midi skirt revealing a semi-sheer effect. Tailoring for the look was provided by designer Laura Basci.

Vergara accessorized her look with jewelry pieces by Yeprem and Etho Maria. The Emmy Award-nominated actress’ hair was styled with soft waves and a middle part by Kylee Heath. Vergara’s makeup was done by artist Sabrina Bedrani. Her look was curated by stylist Rhonda Spies, who’s worked with the actress throughout this season of “America’s Got Talent.”

This isn’t the first time during this season when Vergara turned to British Lebanese fashion designer Merabi. The actress wore a coordinated strapless bustier top and pants with a base black velvet fabric with an ornate curation of sequin and beaded embellishments that created a bursting star pattern by the designer during the Sept. 16 semifinal episode. Merabi is a designer popular among such stars as Kelly Rowland and Tina Knowles.

With both her Sept. 16 and Wednesday night “AGT” looks, Vergara employed the tailoring expertise of Laura Basci to customize her Nadine Merabi looks. A designer in her own right, Basci’s penchant for tailoring has been utilized by Angela Bassett and Gigi Hadid, among other stars.

Basci has also provided Vergara with her own custom designs, including a strapless bustier top with dark floral patterning, which the actress wore for the “AGT” finale performance episode on Tuesday.
