Mytheresa drives sales growth amid YNAP merger

LuxExperience, Mytheresa’s parent company, reported that Mytheresa saw net sales growth of 12% year-over-year to €249 million ($292 million) in Q4. Mytheresa also reported a 9% net sales increase for the full fiscal year. LuxExperience acquired Yoox-Net-a-Porter (YNAP) in April, and now has to execute a turnaround. Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter saw its sales decline 9% to €255 million ($298 million) in the final quarter of fiscal 2025. {LuxExperience; Business of Fashion/paywalled}

Drew Barrymore’s Flower Beauty closes

After 13 years, Drew Barrymore and Maesa’s Flower Beauty is shuttering. Maesa is exiting the color cosmetics category to focus on stronger brands in skin care, body care, fragrance and hair care. Flower Beauty’s website is now wiped, and its Instagram and TikTok accounts have been inactive since last year. The brand’s products are being heavily discounted on Ulta Beauty’s site, and it’s no longer at CVS. {Beauty Independent}

Natalie Massenet withdraws lawsuit against ex-partner Erik Torstensson

Net-a-Porter founder Natalie Massenet has withdrawn a lawsuit against her ex-partner Erik Torstensson. In the now withdrawn California suit, Massenet reportedly alleged her discovery of Torstensson’s drug addiction and infidelity led to the couple’s split in May of this year. It claimed she poured over $95 million into funding Torstensson’s lifestyle to support his business ventures over the years while he was hiring prostitutes, using drugs and cheating on her. {Page Six}

Brunello Cucinelli rejects reports of Russian market irregularities

On Thursday, Brunello Cucinelli rejected allegations by short sellers that it is still conducting substantial business in Russia. The company said its reduced activities in the area are in full compliance with European Union regulations. During a re-see of the spring collection, Brunello Cucinelli’s CEO Luca Lisandroni told WWD that the company has “always acted in full respect of rules as it has already been ascertained by the Customs Agency’s inspections we have been subjected to.” {Reuters; WWD/paywalled}
