TikTok Creator Mikayla Nogueira to Be Honored at BeautyCares DreamBall

BeautyCares DreamBall, the annual event benefiting Look Good Feel Better, has revealed its lineup of honorees.

Mikayla Nogueira, the makeup artist, content creator and cofounder of POV Beauty, will be named beauty influencer and brand founder honoree at the festivities Oct. 8 in New York. Joining her are survivor advocate honoree Kara Lindsay, the Broadway performer and cancer survivor, and Christian Dior Parfums’ president of North America Charlotte Holman Ros.

The programming will be managed by the mistress of ceremonies, actress and author Melissa Gilbert, and there will also be a special performance by Britain’s Got Talent golden buzzer finalist Jasmine Rice LaBeija.

Look Good Feel Better, the nonprofit associated with the Personal Care Products Council and the organization behind the party, benefits people in cancer treatment with in-person and live virtual workshops. The workshops focus on mitigating treatment side effects including skin and nail damage, hair loss and complexion changes.

This cohort of beauty industry honorees have also made impacts on their respective businesses. Holman Ros, for example, has led Dior’s dominance in prestige fragrance in tandem with its brick-and-mortar beauty boutique expansions. Nogueira launched her own beauty brand earlier this year, which is backed by Imaginary Ventures, and debuted with five products. She first joined TikTok, her primary platform, in 2020 and has grown her following count to over 17 million followers.

Past honorees include JCPenney’s Michelle Wlazlo, E.l.f. Beauty’s Tarang Amin and cancer survivor Kate Zickel. The event’s auction in 2024 raised north of $1 million for the organization.
