Real Madrid have set their sights on this Bundesliga talent

In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Real Madrid have set their sights on Bayern Munich talent Aleksandar Pavlovic. It has been stated that Los Blancos are eyeing a move to bring the German midfielder to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium next year.

Pavlovic’s Impressive Form In German Football

Pavlovic has made a decent start to this campaign as he has put in a few impressive displays for the Munich giants at the centre of the park. The 21-year-old has made seven appearances for Bayern Munich this season, scoring one goal across all competitions.

The German talent has anchored the midfield with conviction after making four tackles, two blocks, one interception and two clearances in the Bundesliga. He has also been tidy when distributing the ball, based on his pass completion rate of 94.5% in the German top tier (stats via fbref.com).

Pavlovic is under contract at the Allianz Arena until the summer of 2029. Hence, Real Madrid would have to make a convincing offer if they want to recruit the German talent next year.

What Will Pavlovic Add To Real Madrid Boss Xabi Alonso’s Side?

Pavlovic is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when needed and is a tidy passer of the ball as well.

The German talent can shoot the ball with power from long range. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in La Liga if Los Blancos manage to snap him up next year.

We can expect Pavlovic to add more bite and steel to Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso’s midfield department. He is already good enough to challenge for a regular first-team spot at the Madrid club in the coming years.

At 21, Pavlovic has got the potential to be a future star in European football. Therefore, Los Blancos would be wise to get a deal over the line for him next year. Pavlovic might even help the Madrid giants compete for some major honours over the next decade. All in all, Alonso should focus on signing him this January or at the end of this campaign.
