Benmoyal Spring 2026 Ready-To-Wear Runway, Fashion Show & Collection Review

In the second season since he pressed reset in a drive to gain commercial traction, sustainable fashion champion Benjamin Benmoyal continued to pay tribute to vintage styles, combining them with sportswear references in a medley geared for young fashionistas and their eclectic styling choices.

Benmoyal referenced old furnishing fabrics and wallpapers from grandma’s house as his starting point, and there was a stylish matriarch serving guests with miniature cupcakes at his presentation.

He studied vintage pieces for the cut and construction of lacy slips, cropped sweaters and the like before crafting his own versions using deadstock yarns and fabrics. Recently the designer partnered with Nonasource to create new woven textiles made from deadstock yarns in a cobranded initiative. These were used for part of the collection and the fabrics are on offer in Nonasource’s catalog so other brands can buy them, too, he explained, with more references to be added soon.

Among the statement looks in his collection, a wrap skirt in blue, white and pink — the dominant pastel hues of the collection — nodded to an old patterned rug, and was styled with a two-tone zip-up sweat top with piping details. Lacy slip skirts and dresses were paired with high-necked bomber jackets, while other looks suggested combinations of cropped tweed tailoring, frilly shirt and track pants.

For Benmoyal, who made his name with artisanal looks hand-woven from old cassette tapes, the change in direction appears to be paying off, with a number of accounts having picked up the collection when it was previewed in June.
