There's no time like the present, and the Baltimore Ravens need a win in the worst way possible entering Week 6 with the Los Angeles Rams next up on the schedule.

The 44-10 horror show against the Houston Texans won't fill anyone with confidence that with Cooper Rush under center, and a defense that gives up 30+ points for fun, will be able to, one, keep up with Matthew Stafford, and two, slow him down enough to where the offense can put up enough points to win.

With a 1-4 record and the season slipping away with each passing week, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh knows the tide has to start turning…now.

“We've got a lot of decisions to make,” Harbaugh said. “We've got a lot of planning to do. We've been at it since last night and we plan on putting ourselves in position to win this football game and then going forward to win a lot of football games this year. That's what we've got to do, and the urgency is high.”

Can Ravens upset Rams?

Of course they can. But will they? Well, that's a different conversation.

You can't say with any confidence that the Ravens will be able to avoid another blowout loss after a Texans offense that has looked average at best this season suddenly transformed and looked like the best unit in football.

With Stafford, Davante Adams, Puka Nacua, and others, the Ravens defense is again going to have a tough time slowing down their opponents, and it is unfair to expect Rush to win a shootout. That's not his game.

But if the Ravens are to get something positive going, Rush might have to cut it loose.
