Origin Story: Mary and Sammy Magovern grew up obsessed with skin care, but also frustrated by it. Like most teens, they were influenced by skinfluencers, viral trends and a million products that promised miracles but were made for 30 year olds. After a major breakout (and a mom who happened to be a dermatologist), the sisters realized what they needed didn’t exist — so they decided to create it.

Together with their mom, Dr. Ashley Magovern, they developed Fawn, a small line of effective, derm-backed, teen-calibrated products that addressed oil, breakouts, sensitivity and scarring without compromising the skin barrier.

Dr. Magovern uses a 360-degree treatment model, tapping into tools like nutritional counseling, red light therapy and gut testing to get to the root cause of breakouts.
