Via a creative partnership between BBC Studios, Ludo Studio and Converse, the customizable By You platform offers a palette of options inspired by Bluey. Customers can begin the journey with the Chuck Taylor All Star Hi in unisex, youth or infant sizing, then choose from a selection of colors including black, white, blue and orange for the upper, tongue and heel. The base elements can be mixed and matched to establish either stark contrast or a subtle tonal design.

Finishing touches and Bluey-inspired art allow for more personalization. There are four lace color options and eyelet finishes are offered in black, gold and silver. Additionally, toe cap stripes, pinstripes and allover graphics nodding to Bluey characters and moments can be incorporated. The visual elements are meant to be flexible across all of the base colors.

Graphics including Long Dog, Stars and episode-inspired text can decorate the tongue lining or license plate, while custom sockliners and medial patches allow for understated storytelling. Several thousand unique combinations can be created by customers.

No stranger to partnering up with household names, Converse also recently announced a collaboration with Coca-Cola that includes a limited-edition Chuck 70 and a campaign featuring Vince Staples. There’s also a premium collection from Converse called “First String.” In the customizable “By You” realm, a collaboration with Charli XCX launched in August.

In terms of executive news, Converse welcomed a new CEO this year, Jared Carver, who spent 21 years at Nike.
