Shop Marc Jacobs’ New Collab With A.P.C.

This fall, prep is the name of the game, with tastemakers reaching for their knitwear, varsity jackets, pleated skirts, and loafers — all for the sake of mastering the collegiate-inspired aesthetic that dominated the fall 2025 runways and is currently showing up on everyone’s social media feeds. Leveraging this obsession, Marc Jacobs has just paired up with A.P.C. on a capsule collection that completely reimagines the former’s most iconic styles.

Case in point: You’ve never seen a Marc Jacobs tote bag this way before (yes, the very same one that’s achieved full-fledged virality on TikTok, with the platform being flooded by “The Tote Bag tour” videos as we speak). Thanks to A.P.C.’s minimalist yet classic touch, the chic carryall is now wrapped in full-grain leather that’s taken to the next level by debossed co-branding on its front.

For fans of retro-coded denim handbags, the new arrivals have that too, in the form of The Denim Medium Tote Bag with its (literal) fusion of New York and Parisian campus culture that gives the iconic, structured tote some much-needed edge.

And because every label these days seems to be reimagining the humble and timeless loafer (whether it be with animal print, chunky heels, gleaming hardware, or startling colorways), Marc Jacobs and A.P.C. just had to join the party: releasing a take that’s sleek to its core and comes with a shiny coin detail for the kind of luck that lasts all day. Every last stitch feels considered on the collaboration penny loafer, and its overall top-quality design merits that $420 price tag… at least in our book.

Those wanting to wear said coin loudly and proudly can do so with the help of The Coin Pendant — a Roman coin–inspired jewelry piece that takes the classic collegiate crest and turns it on its head. On one side of the medallion, you’ll find the face of none other than Marc Jacobs himself; on the other, Jean Touitou, A.P.C.’s founder, appears in crisp outline.

So as to fill the needs of consumers once colder temperatures roll around, the collection also has plenty of outerwear for the taking, including The Stoned Canvas Unisex Jacket — whose canvas material and oversized fit are leveled up by a flash of orange on the corduroy collar — as well as The Varsity Jacket (what Marc Jacobs describes as “all retro charm, zero pep rally awkwardness”), The Denim Unisex Jacket (peep its multicolored, cool-cat Marc Jacobs x A.P.C. chenille patch at the back), and more styles.

Everything about this sartorial partnership screams (or, shall we say, politely whispers) “intentional,” seeing as how each of the 26 newly released pieces merges the two brands’ identities while emphasizing their 1980s roots. The labels’ founders also reached deep into their personal archives for this drop, making it all the more special — a prime example of this being The Carte Orange T-Shirt, which cheekily boasts visuals of Jacobs’ ’80s-era metro pass and Touitou’s Sorbonne student ID, creating a tee that’s utterly avant-garde and endearing.

The collection is a study in the interplay of various materials, based on its heavy-handedness when it comes to using fabrics like wool, cowhide leather, cotton denim, and beyond — often mingling with each other in the same piece.

One thing’s for certain: Wearing the Marc Jacobs x A.P.C. styles will make you dream of going back to school, but the only lesson you’ll be learning here is how to dress at the top of your game.
