Alo and Jisoo are taking their partnership to the next level.

Next week, the K-pop star and Blackpink member will launch an exclusive take on the athletic brand’s Sunset sneaker in Jisoo’s signature “Bloom Pink” shade.

The Sunset sneaker, which launched in July, draws inspiration from Los Angeles’ Sunset Boulevard and features the trendy low-profile silhouette, premium suede upper, a recovery foam insole, wide laces and a padded collar.

For this collaboration, Alo said the style was “completely personalized” by the South Korean actress and singer herself and features details like star charms on the laces, representing Jisoo’s hand drawn character Shumon, and a hidden nod to her fans – the number 103, for her birthday – on the tongue.

“It’s super comfy, too. You can find Shumon in this collection,” Jisoo said in a statement.

To celebrate the launch, Jisoo will take over the third floor of Alo’s Dosan sanctuary in Seoul, transforming it into an immersive pop-up where fans can step into her world and get a peek at the inspiration behind her design. With a DJ, photobooth, and more surprises, the pop-up opens with an exclusive early access event on Oct. 22. The pop-up will remain open to the public from Oct. 23 through Oct. 26.

Summer Nacewicz, executive vice president of creative and marketing at Alo, added that collaboration with Jisoo was a “natural next step.”

“Jisoo embodies everything Alo stands for – mindfulness, confidence, and effortless style,” Nacewicz noted. “She cared deeply about every detail of this sneaker and was such a creative, invested partner from start to finish. It’s been amazing to see her personal style and our design ethos come together so seamlessly.”

The Alo x Jisoo Sunset sneaker will be available exclusively on Alo.com and at select Alo sanctuaries worldwide from Oct. 21.

The launch comes just months after Jisoo starred in her second campaign for Alo earlier this year. The campaign followed Jisoo through a weekend wellness escape in Los Angeles as she took time for movement and restoration rituals – think matcha, meditation and workouts.

Jisoo was first tapped by the fashion wellness brand at the top of 2024 as the face of its spring 2024 collection. She was featured in an array of Alo looks in core styles and spring color drops.

This newest shoe launch also comes just weeks after Alo released its first-ever sneaker collaboration. Earlier this month, the brand released an updated version of its debut footwear style – the Recovery Mode sneaker – with six-time NBA All-Star and Golden State Warriors guard Jimmy Butler.
