Becky G, standing at 5 feet tall, has made the Jimmy Choo Max 150 sandals her staple choice for red carpet events. She showcased the popular footwear at the 19th annual DKMS Gala, held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Tuesday.

While the singer has worn the platform sandals in an array of colors, she opted for a white leather pair of the Max sandals. Her stylist Morgan Pinney confirmed to Footwear News that they dyed the white shoes to give them a slightly pink and red-ish hue to go with the red and white dress. Her Draped Chiffon Strapless Gown was from Monique Lhuillier‘s fall 2025 collection, in the candy multicolor, which featured a red rose petal print throughout.

The Max sandals, which are also available in a high-shine satin or glitter style, are defined by their sculptural chunky platform, a dramatic pin-thin stiletto heel and a delicate ankle strap. The peep, rounded toe is a flattering design that peeks through under the hemline of long gowns.

The shoe is propped on a towering heel that measures 150mm, which is nearly six inches, and provides a dramatic height boost. The heels are currently available on the Jimmy Choo website for $995 in black satin, and the luxury footwear brand also has a made-to-order option available for the style.

The “Mayores” singer is a fan of Jimmy Choo, with the Max being a style she reaches for often when she hits a red carpet. She opted for the pair in metallic silver for the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, she wore them in black at the  2023 Latin American Music Awards, and again in silver at the 2025 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards.
