Liverpool ended up selling plenty of Premier League title-winning talent last summer.

It was Alexis Mac Allister, who originally signed for the Anfield club from Brighton in summer 2023.

That’s according to another fresh report – this one from Fichajes – which details the 15-time European champions’ concerns about his current form.

“Alexis Mac Allister’s slump at the start of the season has made him a forgotten name on Real Madrid’s radar, which has abandoned the idea of ​​signing him as a priority to strengthen its midfield,” the report reads.

Of course Liverpool would like Macca back to his best and he impressed in Argentina’s recent friendly against Puerto Rico – scoring twice in a 6-0 win. For now it looks like Madrid have abandoned their interest – with Mac Allister’s contract expiring in 2028.
