Irina Shayk put a modern, minimalist twist on retro glamour at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after party in New York on Wednesday night. Following her time on the runway, the model arrived at the Crane Club in brushed silver sandals from Aera, putting a sustainable spin on the flip-flop and casual sandal trend.

The Faye, named after actress Faye Dunaway, is cut with an open toe, ultra-thin straps and a small buckle-fastening ankle strap. The low-profile vegan leather shoe retails for $525 and features a brushed silver finish, set on a flat sole with a quilted padded insole.

Earlier in the night, Shayk walked the runway in René Caovilla’s Celebrity Mules, which were designed exclusively for the show. Caovilla returned as the event’s official shoe partner for the second consecutive year with a bespoke lineup of crystal-studded mules, boots and high-heel sandals.

The after party closed out a high-profile night for Victoria’s Secret. This year’s runway production returned to Brooklyn under the “Reawakening” banner, with appearances from Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Anok Yai and Alex Consani on the runway. Karol G, Madison Beer, Missy Elliott and Twice performed throughout the show, emphasizing the brand’s effort to restore its spectacle-first reputation after returning from a six-year hiatus last fall.

Aera, founded in New York in 2019, operates as a certified B Corp and produces footwear using vegan materials and low-impact manufacturing methods. Like other footwear brands focused on sustainability, the company sources solvent-free, water-based components and focuses on minimizing environmental impact.

The moment follows a quieter year for the model, who last appeared in Tory Burch’s spring 2025 campaign back in February, photographed in Paris alongside Mona Tougaard and Ida Heiner.
