23 of Heidi Klum’s Best Ever Halloween Costumes

Happy spooky season to all who celebrate! Someone who is definitely ready for Halloween? None other than Heidi Klum, of course.

Over the years, the German-American supermodel has treated us to a number of jaw-dropping Halloween costumes, from a sultry Jessica Rabbit to an aging grandmother complete with varicose veins. In 2018, the mother-of-four showed off one of her most eye-popping looks, using prosthetics to transform herself into Fiona from Shrek. Klum pulled up to her party in an onion-shaped carriage with partner Tom Kaulitz, who was dressed as Fiona’s fictional beau. Showing their commitment to all things Halloween, the couple even had a pram filled with baby ogres in tow.

In 2019, meanwhile, she presented her most terrifying costume to date: an alien science experiment gone wrong; The model documented the many hours of construction on Instagram, keeping her fans guessing before the big reveal. In the absence of her annual Halloween bash in 2021, she released an eerie seven-minute film, in which she played a starring role.

Then in 2022, she dressed up as a worm, which is widely considered one of her best (and most dramatic) transformations to date. Though, last year, her E.T. costume was incredibly detailed and realistic—and required over 30 FX artists to create.

Simply put, the supermodel never fails to keep us on our toes at the spookiest time of the year. In homage to the undeniable queen of Halloween—and as we wait to see what she’s got up her sleeve for Halloween 2025—Vogue has pulled together Klum’s best Halloween looks, as a reminder of how she earned the title.
