Rachel Rigler and Her Mom Wore Matching Sneex at Her Croatian Wedding

Beauty influencer Rachel Rigler married “Dynasty” star Adam Huber at the Brown Beach House in Trogir, Croatia, and made Sneex an integral part of their celebrations.

For the ceremony held in September, Rigler walked down the aisle in a white Valentini Spose‘s “Catera” gown. The one-shoulder wedding dress featured a flowing A-line skirt, a draped bodice with ruched detailing, and a large bow decorating the open back. She paired the dress with Christian Louboutin‘s elegant Sandale Du Desert.

The strappy bridal sandals are made from ivory white crêpe satin and feature thick ribbon ties at the ankle. The heels are set atop an impressive 100 mm heel, and held in place by a strap at the top across the vamp. The heels, which retail for $995, are from the French footwear designer’s wedding collection, so they feature the Christian Louboutin logo and heart stamp on the insole.

Before the reception portion of the wedding, Rigler and her mom, Micah Rigler, staged a bold bridal footwear stunt. The bride snuck into the bridal suite to change out of her sky-high Louboutins and into a pair of Sneex. The beauty influencer opted for the brand’s The Tepper style, while her mom chose The Icon.

Rigler wore the Tepper style from the Sneex wedding collection in a stark white color, which retails for $595. The shoe features mesh and suede details with a single strap across the upper, and a heel measuring 78 mm. She was later spotted wearing her white Sneex during her and Huber’s honeymoon in Croatia. The mother-of-the-bride opted for The Icon in a dark Indigo blue, which retails for $395. The slip-on hybrid heel features a wider elastic strap that hugs the foot, with a heel also measuring 78mm.

For Rigler and her mother, wearing matching shoes wasn’t just about avoiding foot pain and dancing the night away in Sneex, it was also about creating a lasting memory. “Swapping into Sneex with my mom wasn’t just about comfort, it was such a fun way to kick off the night together,” Rigler said to Footwear News. “It was a sweet, lighthearted moment we got to share before the chaos of the reception.”

Her mother added, “Seeing Rachel blend tradition with her own style felt really special. Kicking off the reception in sneakers together is a memory l’ll always treasure. It was the perfect mix of elegance and ease.”

The mother–daughter styling moment also represents a shift in bridal footwear. The shoe swap illustrates the growing trend of brides forgoing stiletto heels, and instead, reaching for sneakers and comfortable shoes for their big day—continuing the modern bridal traditions that prioritize comfort above all else.

After launching a year ago, Sneex have provided women with an alternative to painful high heels. Sneex founder Sara Blakely wanted to move beyond the old adage that “Beauty is pain” and created the shoes to give women support and comfort without compromising style. The shoes feature an effortless slip-on construction, re-engineered weight distribution, a wide toe box, arch support and a manageable heel.

The sneaker and stiletto hybrids were named the Launch of the Year at the 2024 FNAAs and have also made their way onto Hollywood’s biggest red carpets like the Golden Globes and the SAG Awards with celebrities like Kathy Bates, Melanie Griffith, Gayle King and more sporting the shoes on multiple occasions.

“Sneex have always stood for more than just style, they’re about comfort, confidence, and connection. Rachel’s Sneex swap honored tradition while embracing modernity, proving that Sneex have a place in life’s most meaningful celebrations,” Sneex CMO Rachel Goldflam said to FN about Sneex being part of the influencer’s wedding.
