Hailey Bieber Finds Her Best Color: Tom Ford for Gucci-Era Ice Blue

Blue has been a hot color this spring, and approaching summer, it looks like shades of cornflower blue and sky hues aren’t going away anytime soon—and that comes Hailey Bieber-approved.

The Rhode founder and model stepped out in New York yesterday evening (April 30) in an icy blue shift dress—a Tom Ford-era, spring summer 1998 Gucci number. Styled by Bieber’s go-to Dani Michelle, the dress was sourced by none other but the The RealList, a vintage and second-hand luxury dealer specializing in ’90s and early 2000s fashion, turned to by the likes of Olivia Rodrigo for a sexy Mugler moment, Kylie Jenner for show-stopping, Liz Hurley-referencing Versace, and Bieber herself for her apre-ski bunny wardrobe in Aspen.

Bieber paired the look with some nude satin and perspex heels and a soft and squidgy, latte colored clutch. She kept her glam of similar, parred back hues: A brown smoky eye, nude nails, and a contoured lip that has to be the ‘Balance’ caramel brown shade of Rhode lip shaper.

Inflections of color are something that Bieber and Michelle have a lot of fun with, without straying from the Hailey Bieber codes of sophisticated cool-girl fashion. Butter yellow, for instance, is a Bieber favourite. But of recent, she’s been experimenting with the hues of the sky and the sea—just last week, Bieber received the Beauty Innovator of the Year at the Daily Front Row Fashion Los Angeles Awards 2025, and opted for an electric blue and black bustier dress from the fall 2025 Schiaparelli ready-to-wear collection. Another nice detail of the Andrew Mukamal-styled look: The motif on the dress referenced an astrakhan suit worn by Elsa Schiaparelli herself.
