Springtime dressing means rotating in a wardrobe of airy linens, pastels, and sleek and nimble outerwear to slip off when the sun peeks out. Blake Lively, in turn, has hopped right into the joyous rhythm of the season: Wearing an ethereal white, confectionary sweet dress.

Just before wedding season officially kicks off, Lively stepped out in the bridal whites of favored New York designer Christopher John Rogers, whose work aligns with the ‘more is more’ Blake Lively ’fit formula, with voluminous silhouettes, clashing patterns, and color galore.

The actor was photographed on the streets of midtown, New York prior to her appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. She wore the multi-tiered white dress with a deep, v neckline, a buttoned bodice, dropped waist, and peplum. (The peplum style of dress creeping back into fashion once more…). The whimsical dress is crafted from Italian embroidered cotton, silk, and taffeta, making it a perfect look for her Capri-set film’s promo tour. Lively kept up her love of extra accessories with a stack of gold and colored bangles, and gold drop earrings with turquoise details. She finished the look off with a white and pastel patchwork clutch bag and nude pumps with a silver encrusted strap.

For glam, she piled her signature blonde hair high in a half-up, half-down style with cascading ringlets, and a swipe of apricot-toned eyeshadow.

The press tour wardrobe has been fitted out with romantic silhouettes and Lively-esque details: From a Met Gala mermaid throwback to an elevated prom night gown, a Canadian tuxedo, and experiments in latex, as well as her latest experiments in novelty accessories.

Lively has turned to Christopher John Rodgers’s designs before for some of her biggest moments, like an appearance for her haircare line Blake Brown and promoting her previous film It Ends With Us. For the latter, Lively wore a look from the 2025 resort collection: A polka dot halter top with an open front with busy multicolor flowing pants, and a matching jacket.
