Dolce & Gabbana Takes Madison Avenue With a Five-Floor Fashion Spectacle

“Benvenuti!” called the tuxedoed doormen at 695 Madison Avenue, welcoming guests into Dolce & Gabbana’s new five-floor flagship with crisp charm and polished precision. From the first step inside, it was clear: this wasn’t merely a store opening—it was a maximalist monument to the house’s codes, all gleam, glamour, and glinting crystal.

A mix of devoted clients, brand devotees, and press flowed through the expansive 5,905.5-square-meter space, which houses everything from ready-to-wear and fine jewelry to home décor, eveningwear, and the brand’s bespoke Sartoria tailoring service.

As the night progressed, guests floated up the central staircase beneath a dramatic chandelier of black and clear crystal. Helena Christensen, Evan Mock, Law Roach, Grace Elizabeth, Diane Kruger, Chloe Wise, Guido Palau, and Pat McGrath arrived in support. Domenico Dolce, ever the gracious host, mingled warmly among family and friends.

“The store is gorgeous, glamorous, sparkling—it’s wonderful,” said McGrath. “It’s great to see Domenico in New York. We’re having a lot of fun tonight!”

Each floor offered its own mise-en-scène: belts and bags gleaming behind glass, zebra-print carpets underfoot, and a penthouse salon where couches, coiffed guests, and Aperol spritzes marked the first signs of spring.

Upstairs, downstairs, and everywhere in between, heels clicked, cheetah prints blurred, and stone-encrusted accessories caught the light of mirrored walls and chrome trim. Equal parts showroom and soirée, the new flagship was less a retail space than a living, sparkling universe of Dolce & Gabbana.

By the time the crowd thinned and the last taxis rolled away, the building still shimmered against the evening sky. With this Upper East Side debut, the house made one thing clear: no one does entrances quite like Dolce & Gabbana.
