Bodysuits, like pinstripes, were trending at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday. The event, featuring the theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” saw many celebrities mixing tailored, menswear-inspired staples with the feminine silhouette for the red carpet.

Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Carpenter wore a custom burgundy pin-striped tailcoat with crystal buttons and a pin-striped bodysuit. Her Louis Vuitton look was paired with matching platform shoes and gold jewelry.

Doja Cat

Doja Cat wore a custom Marc Jacobs blazer-bodysuit with Swarovski crystal embroidered pinstripe and ocelot printed velvet bodice. She paired with custom Kiki stiletto heels from the brand.

Lisa

Lisa wore a black sparkly blazer with sheer lace elements, layered with a matching bodysuit underneath. She wore pattern-printed sheer black tights with the LV logo and black high-heeled shoes.

Helen Lasichanh

Helen Lasichanh, wife of Pharrell Williams, also donned Louis Vuitton on the red carpet. She wore a black leather blazer paired with a matching bodysuit, logo-printed tights and Louis Vuitton shoes.

The 2025 Met Gala, held Monday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, features the theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” The event highlights Black dandyism and menswear, with a “Tailored for You” dress code.
