Arguably, fashion’s biggest night deserves a setting just as iconic. On Met Gala Monday, Vogue Club hosted a watch party befitting the occasion—complete with its own indigo blue carpet.

Inside the refined elegance of The Lowell Hotel, guests arrived at the Club Room dressed in red carpet–worthy looks of their own. Inspired by the Costume Institute’s Spring 2025 exhibition, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, partygoers embraced the theme with dandy-inspired fashion: Western suiting, sculptural shoulders, and clean-cut ensembles sharp enough to stop traffic on Fifth Avenue.

Couture commentary buzzed through the citrus-lined garden, where lemon trees and flickering candlelight added to the atmosphere. As guests debated Met Gala moments of years past—ranking favorite looks and asking the perennial question, “What (or rather who) will Rihanna wear?”—the anticipation grew.

As Vogue’s livestream began, screens glowed and passed canapés made the rounds: chips crowned with caviar, miniature grilled cheeses, and perfect bites of tartare. Applause and clinking glasses greeted each celebrity ascent up the Met’s iconic steps. Zendaya stunned in white Louis Vuitton; breakout star Chappell Roan dazzled in a fuchsia Paul Tazewell suit; Jenna Ortega turned heads in Balmain; and Gigi Hadid glided in gilded Miu Miu splendor.

Guests settled near roaring fireplaces to continue the fashion discourse well into the night, warming themselves against the evening’s chill at what may have been the most stylish livestream party in town. As the final flutes of champagne were raised, the evening closed on a shared truth: fashion’s magic isn’t just in watching it unfold—it’s in the conversations, connections, and memories it inspires.
