On Saturday, he announces that he’s been swinging the bat without issues and plans to start running next week during the team’s trip to San Diego. Trout also mentioned that he no longer experiences sharp pain in his knee, indicating positive progress in his rehabilitation.

Trout’s return would be a significant boost for the Angels, who have struggled offensively in his absence. LA returns to action on Saturday night and will hope to even the series on the road against the Baltimore Orioles.
