Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami Tap Zendaya for Final Collection

Louis Vuitton unveiled its final Louis Vuitton × Murakami Chapter Three campaign on Friday, featuring new images of House Ambassador Zendaya, photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Set against sweeping Mediterranean Riviera backdrops, the visuals mark the global launch of the collaboration’s final installment on May 22.

Chapter Three brings together more than 70 creations — bags, luggage, summer footwear, silk squares, bag charms and even a Cherry‑accented bicycle — all united by Takashi Murakami’s instantly recognizable smiling Cherry motif. Executed through advanced multi‑step serigraphy, 3D printing and artisanal applications, the candy‑colored cherries sit on top of a crisp white Monogram canvas and the classic brown Monogram, offering contrasting stages for the motif’s lush green stalk and glossy finish.

Classic silhouettes receive signature Cherry treatments: Speedy, Alma and Side Trunk bags gleam with three‑dimensional cherries; Capucines styles feature metallic hanging cherries, concealed Cherry‑shaped zip pulls and playful fasteners. The white‑base Monogram introduces a fresh canvas for the motif, while the brown Monogram reprises its role, punctuated by vibrant new embellishments.

For the first time, the Cherry 3D heel appears on two footwear styles: the Cherie raffia mule, trimmed with a Monogram bow and sculptural cherries, and the Lily cherry‑embroidered denim shoe. Other reopened favorites include Monogram‑denim Romy ballerinas, Maya platform sandals and Cherry‑embroidered white sneakers, mules and Bom Dia sandals. Silk squares adorned with delicate Cherry clusters offer versatility, while bag charms, keychains and sticker sheets extend the motif’s playful reach.

Once again styled by Law Roach with hair by Ursula Stephen and makeup by Ernesto Casillas, Zendaya’s towering presence among oversized Cherry installations conveys the collection’s playful, celebratory tone. Chapter Three concludes the re‑edition journey that first relaunched Murakami’s Superflat multicolour Monogram in early 2025, reinforcing the original 2003 collaboration’s lasting resonance in contemporary fashion.

Available worldwide on May 22,  Louis Vuitton × Murakami Chapter Three merges haute‑art fantasy with the House’s artisanal savoir‑faire, offering a summery finale that honors two decades of creative partnership.
