Origin Story: In 2006, Topher O’Rourke and Dave Ortiz started NextDoor Design & Manufacturing, a private label manufacturer with end-to-end supply chain solutions for handbag and accessories brands. A decade later, O’Rourke and Ortiz founded Minor History in 2015. The brand is meant to fill a void in the market for accessibly priced leather totes, handbags and wallets designed with modern silhouettes, effortless functionality and a sleek edge — as well as real, full-grain leather and solid brass hardware meant to last a lifetime.
