Pom Klementieff Has a Crush on Her ‘Mission: Impossible’ Premiere Outfit

Pom Klementieff has turned Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning press into a bona fide fashion show. First came the Cannes premiere, where she wore a draped lavender dress from Jonathan Anderson’s last Loewe collection. Then came the London premiere, where she donned a silver metallic Rabanne minidress. Last night in New York, Klementieff continued her hot streak in a black strapless McQueen dress with an asymmetrical hem and ruffle details.

When it comes to her off-duty style, Klementieff is driven by feeling. “I would say my style is eclectic,” she says. “For everyday life, I like to choose things that I’ll wear often, that are comfortable and age well. Or things that are fun and quirky and put me in a good mood.” That ethos (just a bit elevated) reflects in her amalgamation of high-octane red carpet looks. Klementieff isn’t after a method dressing moment or trying to adhere to a theme. “For me, it’s just instinctual. It’s all about emotions,” she says. “When I try an outfit, it makes me feel a certain way. I love doing a fitting, and having a crush on an outfit, and building the glam around it. We send each other mood boards and inspirations with my glam team.”

The actor has been working with her stylist, Jonathan Huguet, since the last Mission: Impossible tour. Together, they lean into the fun, fleeting moments of grandeur that come with a multi-city press tour. “On the red carpet, you can change moods, dream, wear something one day, and never wear it again,” Klementieff says. “It’s the ephemeral part of it that is beautiful. One moment in time and it’s gone.”
