Fever Coach Stephanie White's Behavior Toward WNBA Referee is Turning Heads

During Tuesday’s game with the Indiana Fever versus the Atlanta Dream, Fever forward Aliyah Boston was seen arguing with a referee because of a personal foul she received during the second quarter. Then, Fever head coach Stephanie White steps in and tries to calm Boston down and tells her, “I got it, I got it.” Once Boston walks away, White then proceeds to scream at the referee, claiming that her player did not commit a foul.

“Have I said today how much I love our coach? She tells AB she’s got it (talking to the ref) and just gives this ref a piece of her mind,” wrote a fan who caught the interaction on camera and posted it to X on Tuesday evening.

Many fans also noticed this interaction and voiced their opinions on social media.

One user quote-tweeted the original tweet, saying, “the crashout when AB turns around im in tearsfdgdzsrgfdg.”

“Like immediately gives it to the ref too! 😂,” wrote a user on X. “That’s my MF’N COACH!”

😭 she went from 0-10 so quick,” one fan commented.

“like ‘i gotchu … 👹👹👹’”, said another user on X.

Many expressed how proud they were of White for standing up for Boston. A fan quote-tweeted, saying, “THATS MY COACH.”

“I love her with my whole heart,” one user posted.

“A coach actually standing up for their players,” an X user posted. “You got to love it.”
