I love a good collaboration. It brings me joy to see two of my faves coming together to combine their magic in the name of chicness. This year’s brand partnerships have already been key in driving my summer case of The Shoppies (see: Crown Affair’s excellent team-up with Éliou — how fun?). And now, indie London-based label Rixo, beloved for its vintage-inspired dresses and eclectic prints, has teamed up with Dragon Diffusion, purveyor of high-quality handwoven leather handbags inspired by traditional basketweaving, for another standout collaboration.

The two brands created a limited-edition seven-piece collection that includes five handbags and two belts, all in Dragon Diffusion’s signature woven leather. The partnership was “born from a shared love of vintage charm and modern style,” per a press release. The result is a lineup of timeless accessories that just so happen to pair perfectly with that polka-dot Rixo piece you have hanging in your closet.

“We’re proud to collaborate with Dragon Diffusion at such an exciting time of accessory expansion for Rixo,” said Rixo Co-Founder and CEO Orlagh McCloskey in a press release. “I’ve long admired the brand’s dedication to artisanal craft, authenticity and modern sophistication. The vintage-inspired bags and belts are perfect for warm-weather days and designed to be loved season after season.”

While I love the whole lineup, I have my eye on the Amoria Leather Bag, an everyday shoulder bag with a magnetic closure, because it’s the ideal size for carrying around all of my daily summer necessities: phone, wallet, keys, mini sunscreen and about seven too many lip products. 

It seems I’m not the only one who fell for that piece, as it’s already sold out in all three of the colorways (black, dark green and tan). But, good news: The brands promise a re-stock coming within the next month, so nabbing it in time to wear for most of summer 2025 is still very much a possibility.
