Paints down Mill Rats in Prospect League opener | Sports

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – A four-run fifth inning provided enough offensive momentum for the Chillicothe Paints to claim a 9-4 victory over the Johnstown Mill Rats in Tuesday night’s Prospect League opener at Sargent’s Stadium at the Point.

The Paints scored four runs on just two hits in the frame, reflecting the tone of the contest as Chillicothe capitalized on multiple Johnstown miscues to grab the win.
